From user experience side this toolbar is very well designed. We have all most used option available under the hand.

You can define of of available formats for the text: Subscript, Superscript, Monospace.
Lists
Lists are very usefull tool to categorize text. In confluence we have available:
- simple bullet lists
- or enumerated lists.
Task list
I like this option because when I have any idea or task I can quickly use it to save what I want. Such list of tasks I used to check what I have done or not.
Text indentation
Sometimes when we work with block of texts we need to make some part of text to move more inside or outside of the rest of the text block. For such reason we can use: indent or outdent in Confluence.
Text alignment
Like in most popular text editors we have a kind of standard in text aligment. We can align text into:
- left
- center
- right
Upload files or images
Uploading files is one of the most used action after typing the text. Atlassian team made very good job with this feature.
Linking pages
When we create any content in the page we sometimes want to link some part of the text to another page. Using this option we can realize the process very quickly. It is important to know that we can link to internal pages (cross all pages in Confluence) or to external resource from the Internet.
Tables
In order to put a table into the page we only need to move the cursor to the place that we are interested in it. After that we click on table option and simply select the size of the table we want to have. You can always change the size of the existing table.
Undo and redo
When we delete something or change in the way we didn’t want we have very usefull option to redo or undo the changes.
Find and replace
This option is very well known for everyone that used any graphical editor. Using it we can change or find any text available on the page.
