I write here about running AI on hardware you own, retrieval that actually retrieves, and the Python that holds it together. If any of that is close to what you are working on, I would like to hear from you.

What is worth writing about

Something ran differently on your machine. This is the message I value most. Almost everything here was measured on one setup — an AMD Radeon PRO W7900 on Windows 11. Different card, different ROCm build, different driver, and the numbers move. Tell me what you saw and I will say so in the article.

Something is wrong. A command that no longer works, a flag that was renamed, a benchmark that looks too good. Corrections get made and credited.

You are stuck on something I have written about. Send the error and what you already tried. I answer these when I can, and they often turn into the next article.

Work. I build analytics and AI systems for small and medium companies — the kind that has to run on a budget and keep the data in house. If that is your problem, describe it and I will tell you honestly whether I am the right person.

Write to me

If you are here by accident

Then you probably wanted one of these instead:

What happens after you send it

The message lands in my inbox and nowhere else — no ticketing system, no assistant, no autoresponder pretending to be me. I read all of them and reply to most, usually within a few days. If the answer is long, it sometimes arrives as an article instead, and I send you the link.

You can also simply reply to any e-mail from the newsletter. Those reach me the same way.

One thing I will not do

Your address stays here. It does not go on the newsletter list, it is not passed anywhere, and writing to me does not sign you up for anything. If you want the newsletter, there is a separate form for that and it asks you plainly.
